And her name is....

Becky
Becky is my fifth puppy for Guide Dogs for the Blind.  She is a starter puppy for the High School Raising Program.  She will be with me until late Sept/early Oct.  She was born 2.28.10 to Piedmont/Geraldine.  So far she has been a great puppy.  As good as one can expect for a baby to hold still during pictures, not a whole lot of crying in her crate, and she was very easy to bathe!

Standing in front of the puppy truck with Becky in my arms while she licks my face.
Becky sits on a field of grass with the sun shinning in her face
This was a very cool puppy truck for me as I was able to have my 3rd, 4th, and 5th puppies all together.  Paris, my third pup, leaves Sunday for formal training at the Oregon campus.

Awe she is so cute!! I love her name!
What's it like overlapping puppies? I am planning on overlapping with Betsy, but am a little nervous that it will be too crazy!

Awww! WELCOME Becky!!!

Sarah--you should definitely submit that last photo to the GDB calendar! Love, love, love, the serious and serene expressions on the two older pups and Becky chewing up the pine needles....

A new youth raiser in my club is getting a sister to yours tomorrow. We are praying for a decent name. Becky is at least short, easy to pronounce and normal.
How many other "B"'s were on the truck? Names?

What a unique experience to have puppies 3, 4 and 5 there in one spot! Becky looks like a Becky, what a perfect name for her. I love the last photo where she has a piece of dried grass in her mouth! Good luck!!

Maddie- It is a little crazy overlapping, but it is also ALOT of fun! When are you planning on getting another puppy?

Heather- Yes, Paris and Rafferty are well versed in the art of picture taking, whereas Becky had more important things to do. I will send it in to guide dogs...it is cute!

Rick & Dot- Yes, I really lucked out with Becky's name! Her sister Breeze and brother Barley were also dropped off today. Seems like pretty normal names for the litter so far: hopefully your new raiser lucks out. Sorry, didn't happen to see the other B puppy names, though there is a HUGE H puppy headed your way!

Gabby & Mimi- Thanks! I was suprised any of them turned out...but with 351 pictures taken at the truck I was glad one did!

Becky- First thing I thought of when I heard her name was you and Cricket! Becky could not have a better namesake...maybe she will be lucky enough to meet you one day.

She sure is cute, you got some good pictures from truck.

AND,

Congrats, me and Paris did our leash drawing this morning and you are our winner!!! (Although, I think Paris might have been a bit biased. ;) Anyway, send me an e-mail and let me know what color you want and if you want a dogs name stamped in it. Congrats again!!!
