Done!

I am done!  Now I finally have time to use my early Christmas present (from...me, lol).  I got a Canon Rebel Xsi digital camera.  I have been kinda slow on using it, due to those annoying finals...but here are some early attempts. (blogger is being slow and won't let me upload alot of pictures)

The table at Thanksgiving.
Mr. Milo, our resident orange tabby.
My foster pup, Walker.  3 month old German Shepherd...amazing what comes into the shelter.
And my beautiful boy Sterling.  Enjoying our first big snowfall.

Take me home for the holidays....

And then forever, of course!  Hi, my name is Brutus, and I am a 13 week old Chihuahua.  I was turned into the shelter after the person who bred my mom found out breeding is expensive, and good breeders don't make any money!  (My mom's c-section was $600.)

Now I am staying with a nice family and all their dogs.  I really like the other Chihuahua here, but I get along with the lab and Great Pyrenees mix too!  I am learning not to chase the cats and to go outside to do my business.

I will be about 6lbs when full grown.  Do you know anyone who needs a small dog to warm their heart and lap?  Contact my foster mom!

Dante

Dante, my sweet little boy! Dante is my first dog (that I raised), and defies all pre-conceptions of how a small dog acts! He runs in the snow, out-kikes the big dogs, and loves to play! He is also very sweet and submissive with children. I don't really know where he picked that up! I got Dante June 2, 2006. He went to class with me, came hiking, and traveled with me to MN the first few months I had him.

At the time I got Dante, we were raising a litter of kittens for Summit County Friends of Animals, the local rescue. They were 4 weeks old, Dante was 9 weeks, and they loved to play! There were six kittens in the litter, Milo (whom we kept), Andrew, Oreo, Rose, Kiwi, and Bear.

Here is an action shot of Dante and Rose.Milo loves to get into places he shouldn't.
And the mixing bowl has been popular with others too. Here are Zeus and Venus, two kittens bottle-feed and fostered last year.

Oh! Sterling is barking, off to let him out!
