Uh Oh.

My CFR is coming Mon.  Two dogs may be going.  There are three to choose from.  Sterling is one of them.

Time to do all the final pictures, paw prints, and lots and lots of loving.

What do you do when you know your dog is going back?

what already? noooO! But I guess he and Midnight are the same age, so I shouldn't be too surprised.

So far I have bought a bunch of toys, and beds. And taken lots of pictures and lots of cuddling and remembering.

*sigh*
Will you raise another right away? My misery needs some company! LOL!

As to what I do ... around our last day I always like to go home (my 'real' home with my parents, as opposed to school home), take my pup for one last walk downtown to visit some old friends, and then finish up by taking the traditional 'recall' pictures down by the lake. :)

Good luck to you and Sterling whatever happens.

Oh no! Enjoy the time left with your boy! :(

I like to think of recall as a good time. After all, it's a huge accomplishment that your puppy has made it to their recall date. Think about all the memories you've had with Sterling over the last year, and all the new memories he will make with his new partner, whoever that lucky person might be. Dream about the fantastic possibility of graduation...the excitement of Thursdays. The time will go by WAY too fast, but just try to soak up as much puppy love as you can. :)

That is so soon. Wow! She is coming to our group on Tuesday so maybe she will just take the two pups ready in our group. ;) lets see lasts. . . I usually do one last trip to all my pups favorite places, have him so bye to his friends, I usually sleep on the floor with them the last night too. Give him lots of hugs and kisses. Let us know the verdict.
